Nassau County 4-H and Nassau Animal Services Announce Application Period for The Dog Program
Applications are now open! The Dog Program is back for another pawsome year!
This unique partnership between Nassau County 4-H and Nassau County Animal Services gives teens the opportunity to build real-world skills while working hands-on with dogs. Participants will learn basic dog training, record-keeping, and key animal science concepts while also developing public speaking skills. Youth will gain valuable experience exploring careers in animal services and earn community service hours along the way.
Who: Teens ages 15–18
Application Deadline: July 13
Cost: The program is free; however, accepted participants must enroll as 4-H members
