Nassau County RISE (Resources for Small Business Expansion) Pilot Program
Small businesses are the true cornerstone of our local economy, and Nassau County is committed to keeping your capital where it belongs, in your operations.
The RISE (Resources for Small Business Expansion) pilot program offers a significant boost for "for-profit" entrepreneurs by providing up to $20,000 in credits to offset County development costs, such as mobility, impact, inspection, and permit fees. Please note that while we welcome all local interest, these credits apply strictly to Nassau County fees and do not cover city charges.
To qualify, business owners must have a formal business plan and work directly with a Small Business Development Center (SBDC)Â representative. The process is seamless: meet with the SBDC to confirm eligibility, submit your application, and receive credits.
