Daytime Flagging Operation over the Nassau Sound Bridge Planned Next Week

NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. – As part of routine bridge maintenance, a daytime single lane closure and flagging operation is planned on the Nassau Sound Bridge (State Road A1A, Jimmy Buffett Memorial Highway) Monday, Aug. 10 through Thursday, Aug. 13.

A single lane closure and flagging operation is planned in the northbound lane of State Road A1A on Monday, Aug. 10 and Tuesday, Aug. 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A single lane closure and flagging operation is planned in the southbound lane of State Road A1A on Wednesday, Aug. 12 and Thursday, Aug. 13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Drivers are encouraged to use additional caution and plan extra time to reach their destinations.
