After Addy Party Raises More Than $250,000 for Addy’s Army Fund

FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla.—Sept. 9, 2026—The inaugural After Addy Party, held Sept. 3 at The Preserve at The Amelia River Club, raised more than $250,000 for Addy’s Army Fund, a Named Fund of CURE Childhood Cancer, thanks to the generosity of event attendees, sponsors and in-kind donors. About 300 guests gathered for a celebratory evening to honor Addy Tomberlin and help create brighter futures for children facing childhood cancer.

Addy’s Army was created in Addy’s memory following her battle with childhood cancer and has grown into a community dedicated to turning her legacy into action. Through Addy’s Army Fund, a Named Fund of CURE Childhood Cancer, supporters help advance childhood cancer research and provide programs that improve quality of life for children undergoing treatment, their siblings and families experiencing grief and bereavement.

“One of Addy’s greatest gifts was bringing people together, so seeing our community show up in her honor and for this mission is incredibly meaningful to our family,” said Stephanie Tomberlin, Addy’s mother and a founder of Addy’s Army. “We’re grateful to everyone who supported this cause so generously. Every contribution helps us work toward what every child with cancer deserves: more time, more birthdays, more family dinners and more memories with the people they love.”

The evening featured dinner and dancing, a silent auction and entertainment by The Ramblers, a strolling band. The After Addy Party was presented in partnership with Addy’s Army, Collins Korman Events and Lola Interiors, bringing together friends, community members and local businesses in support of Addy’s Army Fund.

“I believe this will be one of those evenings our community remembers for a long time,” said Nicki Korman, owner and creative director of Collins Korman Events. “It was special seeing so many people come together to celebrate Addy and support her family and Addy’s Army. We were proud to help bring the evening to life, and even more grateful to be part of a community that showed the impact we can make when we rally around something that matters.”
